Marty McGinnis

Marty McGinnis is Practise Leader - Supply Chain Execution Systems for KOM International.

Mr. McGinnis combines twenty years of diverse retail experience with more than fifteen years of supply chain consulting. His projects include both physical distribution and information systems. He has extensive experience in the acquisition of application software and related hardware for supply chain including ERP, warehouse management and store systems.

As the former Vice-president, Logistics and Information Systems for a major Canadian cataloger, Mr. McGinnis leverages this and his diverse retail experience to maximize his clients' supply chain capabilities.

Mr. McGinnis has worked with numerous Fortune 1000 companies on a wide range of projects including: Developing requirements of DC systems for a Drug Store Retailer; Managing the RFP and evaluation process for the replacement of 5,000 POS terminals for a major Canadian Department Store Retailer; Managing RFP process for selection of debit/credit Acquirer and gift card providers for a Home Improvement & Hardware Retailer; Developing strategy and software requirements for inbound and outbound load building and modeling of supply chain capacity constraints for one of the world's largest Toy Retailers; Analyzing the costs of orders from individual pharmacies and recommending new minimum order rules to reduce DC operating costs for a Global Pharmaceutical Manufacturer; and Preparing cost and service analysis and advice on negotiations for outsourcing the data center for the world's largest Soup Manufacturer.
