Louis Veilleux

Practice Leader – Information Technology and Logistics

Louis has more than 17 years of experience in the sector of information technology and logistics. The diversity of his experience enables Louis to readily understand the interplay of corporate strategy, commercial priorities and organizational policy while bringing a realistic appreciation for the constraints and challenges of diverse operational environments.

Notably, Louis served as Logistic Officer for the Department of National Defense of Canada, responsible for directing all operations related to logistic support for overseas operations. He then worked as consultant, and most recently as Practice Leader - Information Technology and Logistics for KOM International, serving to assist many local and multinational companies in the implementation of logistic solutions.

As President and Cofounder of Sologlobe Louis directed growth efforts for the company, generating interest and increasing demand for his products and services by building a reputation for quality.

Louis’ experience as an officer, consultant, and manager includes a wide range of logistics and information technology projects in manufacturing, with Defense, the United Nations, and the numerous other industries in the private sector. In addition, he’s worked in several countries in Europe, Africa, Latin America and North America, constantly demonstrating solid leadership qualities and a sound dedication to solving the challenges encountered.

Louis’ formal studies in data processing and operations research along with his practical experience make him an excellent collaborator in any project in operational, logistics and/or technology.

Louis obtained his B.Sc in data processing from the royal military College of Midsummer's Day and holds a M.Sc in operations research from the University of Montreal.
