Practise Leader - Food Logistics

Keith Swiednicki is Chief Operating Officer at KOM International, responsible for the company's Food Consulting Practise.

As Senior Partner, Mr. Swiednicki manages a team of professional logisticians in all aspects of logistics strategy, distribution center design and implementation for food industry distributors and manufacturers, and for many other Fortune 1000 companies throughout North America and Europe. His team successfully consults on projects involving supply chain strategy, the design, optimization and implementation of distribution facilities, logistics operations and supply chain technology solutions.

Mr. Swiednicki joined KOM International in 1984 as a project manager. Over the years, he has successfully completed hundreds of logistics consulting projects that have contributed to his reputation today as a highly respected logistics and supply chain consultant well known to the food industry.

Mr. Swiednicki has contributed over 25 articles and white papers to industrial publications including: Food Logistics; Gestion Logistics, Inbound Logistics; Modern Materials Handling; Materials Management & Distribution, Logistics Management, Supply Chain Technology, Distribution Center Management; and Food Logistics. Mr. Swiednicki is a member of ROFDA, FMI/GMA, CIES, Canadian Material Handling Society. and serves on the Board of the Canadian Professional Logistics Institute. Mr. Swiednicki has a Diploma in Management from McGill University, a Professional Logistics Certification and a degree in Building/Architectural Technology.
