Biography
Dan Goodwill
Project Director - Transportation
Mr. Goodwill has over 20 years of experience in the logistics and transportation industries in both Canada and the United States. He has held a number of executive level positions in the field and is currently a consultant to manufacturers and distributors, helping them improve their transportation processes and save millions of dollars in freight spending.
As a seasoned transportation consultant Mr. Goodwill's expertise spans many years of senior sales and leadership experience in the LTL, truckload, intermodal and freight brokerage industries. Mr. Goodwill's experience encompasses organic revenue growth, turnarounds, mergers and acquisitions, new service introductions, pricing enhancements, integrated sales and marketing programs, cost reduction programs, profit improvement programs, business startups, strategic planning and execution, business leadership and team building.
Dan Goodwill holds an MBA from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, an Honours B.A. from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, and a P. Log (Professional Logistician) Certificate from The Logistics Institute in Toronto, Ontario. He is fluent in French and English, having received a Certificate of Proficiency in French from McGill University.
Mr. Goodwill has published articles in Logistics Quarterly, Canadian Transportation & Logistics magazine and the CSCMP newsletter and has spoken at CSCMP and other industry workshops and conferences. He has been active in CSCMP for over ten years, having served as Vice President, Programs for the Toronto Roundtable and hosted the transportation track at the CSCMP Annual Meeting in Kansas City in 2001, the best attended track of the over forty tracks that year.
