KOM Presents First Benchmarking Report to ROFDA

MONTREAL, Quebec, Canada, May 20, 2008 – KOM International Inc., a global leader in supply chain consulting, announced today that one of the firm’s senior partners, Mr. Keith Swiednicki presented the first Benchmarking Report to the ROFDA 2008 Spring Conference held in Orlando, May 17-20 2008.

For 44 years KOM International has been evaluating food and grocery operators’ operational performance in comparison with other industry champions. The output of this benchmark comparison is a Productivity Report Card that provides: 1) Productivity rates by function and department; 2) A confidential “grade” of each facility by function, relative to other participants; 3) Identification of possible areas of improvement, or reasoning behind comparative standings; 4) A benchmark tool to compare productivity results annually and monitor progress. KOM will share a high level view with ROFDA members of this year’s productivity benchmarking results.

Over the past 20 years, Mr. Swiednicki has successfully completed hundreds of logistics consulting projects that have contributed to his reputation today as a highly respected logistics and supply chain consultant well known to the food industry.

Mr. Swiednicki has been published in numerous trade industry publications including: Grocery Distribution, U.S. Distribution Journal and Food logistics. Mr. Swiednicki is a member of FMI, Canadian Material Handling Society and the Canadian Professional Logistics Institute. Mr. Swiednicki has a Diploma in Management from McGill University, a Professional Logistics Certification and a degree in Building/Architectural Technology.
