KOM International Announces Allan Kohl as New Company President
MONTREAL, Quebec, Canada, March 14, 2006 – KOM International Inc., a global leader in supply chain consulting, announced today the appointment of Mr. Allan Kohl as the new company President and Chief Executive Officer.
Stationed at corporate headquarters in Montreal Allan Kohl will oversee the firm's global operations. This includes the firm's various corporate offices in Montreal, Mexico City, Caracas, Bogotá, and Sao Paulo. As President and CEO Mr. Kohl brings extensive experience to his new role.
Mr. Kohl is a Senior Partner who has been with Kom for over 35 years. In addition to the hundreds of projects he's managed for some of the largest and most sophisticated distribution firms in Canada, United States, Europe and Asia, Mr. Kohl recently served as Interim Vice President- Logistics for one of Kom International's distinguished, long-term clients.
Mr. Kohl's clients come from across diversified sectors of the economy including manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers in the grocery, food service, apparel, recorded music/video, books, sporting goods, firearms, automotive parts, mail order, health and beauty care, pharmaceuticals, and government.
Mr. Kohl has been published in numerous distribution trade journals and is a featured speaker at industry trade shows including FMI and IFDA. He has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, a Diploma in Management and a Master of Business Administration from McGill University.
