KOM International at 30th Annual WERC Conference in 2007
MONTREAL, Quebec, Canada, November 29, 2006 – KOM International Inc., a global leader in supply chain consulting, announced today one of the firm's project directors, Mr. Omer Rashid will provide a presentation at the 30th Annual WERC Conference to be held in Orlando, Florida May 7-10, 2007.
Attendees of Omer's WERC presentation this May will discover how a warehouse re-slotting project and implementation of the correct strategy can result in 10-15% cost savings. Omer will also provide key criteria for effective slotting and the various strategies used to successfully meet the different needs these criteria dictate. In addition he'll provide an overview of the ins-and-outs of slot maintenance.
As a Project Director with KOM International, Omer Rashid directs a team of professional logisticians in all aspects of logistics strategy, distribution center design and implementation for food industry distributors and manufacturers, and for many other Fortune 1000 companies throughout North America and Europe.
Mr. Rashid holds a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, and a minor degree of Management from McGill University.
