Kom International to Present at the National Conference on Operations & Fulfillment (NCOF) 2005
MONTREAL, Quebec, Canada, March 23, 2005 – Kom International Inc., a global leader in supply chain consulting, announced today that Mr. Jimmy Benefield will provide a presentation and lead a Roundtable at the 2005 National Conference on Operations and Fulfillment (NCOF) in Grapevine, Texas. Mr. Benefield's NCOF presentation, Performance Management Techniques in the Distribution Center to be delivered at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 5, 2005, provides how to's in capturing employee discretionary effort and establishing work methods that produce noticeable benefit. Today's challenges in the distribution environment are both varied and proliferate, including everything from demands to increase operating efficiency and asset utilization, to demands to cut costs and increase responsiveness. Mr. Benefield is the author of numerous articles and a lecturer on the subject of planning and improving warehouse operations, performance management, transportation optimization, warehouse management systems and supply chain management. Mr. Benefield has a MBA from California Coast University, a BSc in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University, and a Certificate of Management (AMA) from the University of South Mississippi. He is Senior Member, Institute of Industrial Engineers, a member of WERC and CLM, and is a Registered Professional Engineer (Texas).
