KOM International Names Antonio Rivero and Hernan Chacon Partner, Mexico
MONTREAL, Quebec, Canada, February 11, 2005 – KOM International Inc., a global leader in supply chain consulting, today named Antonio Rivero-Vasquez and Hernan Chacon Partner, Mexico.
Antonio Rivero-Vasquez is a Civil Engineer with a MBA specialized in Marketing and Finance. In the last sixteen years, he has worked with important manufacturing and service companies. He possesses broad managerial experience, specifically in strategic planning, procurement and logistics. He also has entrepreneurial experience with his own food service company and has provided consulting services for a wide range of businesses in Latin America. He is actually responsible the administration in the KOM office in Mexico. He speaks both fluent Spanish and English.
Hernan Chacon joined the firm in 1999 as a Transportation specialist. Mr. Chacon has more than 10 years of experience in logistics and production for leading Latin American companies across a wide variety of industry segments. He has successfully participated in projects involving routing strategy design, forecasting and distribution planning, GPS technology implementation and strategy design, transportation management optimization, strategy network analysis, the design of new facilities, facility changeovers, and logistics strategy. He is fluent in both Spanish and English, and has a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of America in Bogata, Colombia.
Antonio Rivero-Vaxquez and Hernan Chacon will be sharing responsibilities for both the office in Mexico City and the newly opened Monterrey office. The partners equally share responsibility for sales, marketing and project management. While Antonio oversees administration and legal representation, Hernan is responsible for quality assurance and human resources for KOM International operations in Mexico.
