KOM International Names Charles Fallon, Mike MacRae, and Omer Rashid as Project Directors at the Company's Montreal Headquarters
MONTREAL, Quebec, Canada, January 28, 2004 – KOM International Inc., a global leader in supply chain consulting, announced today the appointments of Charles Fallon, Mike MacRae, and Omer Rashid as Project Directors at company corporate headquarters. Mr. Fallon, Mr. MacRae, and Mr. Rashid will be responsible for managing client consulting assignments, and for contributing to business development at the firm's head office in Montreal.
Mr. Fallon joined KOM International in 1999 as a logistics analyst, and quickly established himself as a leader with his appointment to project manager in January, 2002. He has managed numerous consulting projects in design and implementation, master-site planning, facility re-engineering, and strategic studies for North American manufacturers, Foodservice distributors, GM/HBC Wholesalers, and After-sales parts distributors. Mr. Fallon is a graduate of McGill University, B. Eng., Mining Engineering.
Mr. MacRae has been a dedicated member of the KOM International team for nearly a decade. He began his career with the firm in 1995 as a logistics analyst. In 2000 he became a senior logistics analyst and was quickly promoted to project manager in 2001. Mr. MacRae has led numerous engineering consulting projects in strategic planning, detailed planning, master site planning, network and transportation planning, and implementations for Grocery, General Merchandise, Health and Beauty Care, Pharmaceuticals, Electrical and Electronics, Plumbing and Auto Parts clients. Mr. MacRae is a graduate of Université du Québec à Chicoutimi, Unified Engineering.
Mr. Rashid moved from a local civil engineering and consulting firm in 1998 to join KOM International as a logistics analyst. He was promoted to senior project analyst in 2002 and quickly moved up to project manager in 2003. In this capacity he has gained considerable experience managing strategic logistics studies, warehouse layout design and transportation projects for North American and European clients in Grocery retail and wholesale, FoodService, and Electronics distribution. Mr. Rashid is a graduate of McGill Univeristy, Civil Engineering. He is a member of the Warehousing Education and Research Council (WERC).
