KOM International to Present at the Upcoming 2003 FMI Industry Productivity Convention & Expo

MONTREAL, Quebec, Canada, September 12, 2003 – KOM International Inc., a global leader in supply chain consulting, announced today that one of the firm's Partners, Mr. Marc Wulfraat, will be a presenter at the 2003 Food Industry Productivity Convention & Expo in Nashville, TN, an important conference for the Grocery and Foodservice industries. In conjunction with Mr. Doug Pope of the Facility Group, Mr. Wulfraat will present “What Every Distribution Executive Should Know About Facility Design” at 8:00 am on the morning of Tuesday, October 28, 2003.

Participants will learn the right questions to ask and the steps to take to help them develop a new facility design. Various case studies will be presented to highlight important design elements that should be considered for conventional, mechanized and automated distribution centers. The speakers will also discuss the latest trends in operating strategies, distribution center technologies and productivity metrics used to evaluate the facility once it's up and running.

Mr. Wulfraat is a regular speaker at numerous supply chain industry trade shows including the FDI Productivity Convention, HIDA, DC Expo and many others. Mr. Wulfraat has also been published in several industry publications including Material Handling Management, Grocery Distribution, Inbound Logistics, Modern Materials Handling, Distribution Center Management and is a member of WERC and CLM.
