KOM International to Present Twice at 2002 Food Distributors International Productivity Convention

MONTREAL, Quebec, Canada, April 9, 2002 - KOM International Inc., a global leader in supply chain consulting, announced today that two of the firm's Partners, Mr. Keith Swiednicki and Mr. Marc Wulfraat, will be presenters at the 2002 FDI Productivity Convention and Exposition in Atlanta, Georgia. The FDI Productivity Conference is the largest food industry conference for logistics, distribution, transportation, warehousing, supply chain management, and e-business applications.

Mr. Kohl will present DC Design and Evaluation: What Every Vice President Should Know About Facility Layout and Design" at the symposium at session 203 at 11:00 am on the morning of Monday, October 23rd, 2002. Mr. Kohli's presentation will provide a hands-on overview of the thinking process involved in the evaluation of deciding whether to build a new distribution center versus remodeling an existing one. The presentation provides a road map of the steps to take when designing a facility layout for a new or existing facility.

Mr. Kohl has been published in numerous distribution trade journals and has been a featured speaker at industry trade shows including FMI and FDI.

Mr. Wulfraat will present "Confessions of an Ex-Software Sales Guy : 10 Lessons Learned on How to Buy Supply Chain Software" at the symposium at session 103 at 9:30 am on the morning of Monday, October 21, 2002. Mr. Wulfraat's presentation will review the top 10 most common mistakes that companies make when buying logistics software and the key ways to protect the firm's supply chain technology investments. The presentation emphasizes a disciplined approach to the software purchasing cycle to ensure the best technology solution partner is selected.

Mr. Wulfraat is a regular speaker at numerous distribution industry trade shows and has also been published in several industry publications including iSource, Grocery Distribution, Inbound Logistics and Modern Materials Handling and is a member of WERC and FDI.
