KOM International and Tecsys Latin America Partner to Implement Paragon Transportation Solution
MONTREAL, Quebec, Canada, June 11, 2001 - KOM International Inc., a global leader in supply chain consulting, announced today a strategic alliance with Tecsys Latin America to implement the PARAGON Vehicle Routing & Scheduling System
from Paragon Software Systems plc in the United Kingdom. The announcement
follows a recent agreement between Tecsys Latin America and Paragon Software
Systems plc to offer the software to companies throughout Latin America. The
Paragon system is a dynamic vehicle routing and transportation planning and
execution system.
The alliance will allow customers of the PARAGON system to benefit from KOM International's vast experience in transportation issues, both from a strategic and operational perspective. "Our current and future customers will no doubt benefit greatly from this alliance," states Angel Torres, Director of Warehousing, Logistics and Transportation Solutions for Tecsys Latin America. "KOM International has exceptional knowledge and unique regional experience in the transportation area and their value-add will be significant" continues Torres.
